FIFA World Cup 2022 – Poland vs Saudi Arabia, Group C, match preview, predicted lineups

Pol vs Ksa
In the second game of Saturday in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Poland play Saudi Arabia in Group C

Poland and Saudi Arabia lock horns in Group C in FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan

Poland after a stalemate against Mexico would want to end that disappointment when they play the Saudi’s. They know that missed penalty from star men Lewandowski was a huge moment from otherwise quality display which way they will play.

The Eagles will have to defend well against a dangerous Saudi side and try to be present in the final third with goals.

Manager Czeslaw Michniewicz might us a 4-1-4-1 system on Saturday.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia will be overjoyed by success in the first game, an historic win over Argentina, creating excitement waves in the Arab world. They will look to play their brand of football.

The Green Falcons will now look to be defensively rock solid and be threatening up front as they have been.

Boss Herve Renard will use the 4-1-4-1 system against the Poles.

Team news and possible lineups

Yaseer Al-Shahrani is injured and won’t be available. While Mohammed Al-Burayk is available and will play.

As for the Poles, Arkadiusz Milik is available and likely play.

Poland XI : Szczesny, Zalewski, Kiwior, Glik, Bednarek, Cash, Szymanski, Krychowiak, Zielinski, R. Lewandowski, A. Milik.

Saudi Arabia XI : Al-Owais, Al-Burayk, Al-Boleahi, Al Tambakti, Abdulhamid, Al Malki, Kanno, Al-Abed, Al Dawsari, Al-Shehiri, Al Buraikan.

It should be a good competitive game with two good teams giving their all and I do think it will go down to the wire. Good chances of a draw ,maybe a 2-2.
