Arg vs Mex
In the fourth game of Saturday Argentina play Mexico in FIFA World Cup 2022 Group C

Argentina take on latin rivals Mexico on Saturday in FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar Group C as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 10:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Lusail Stadium, Lusail

Argentina having suffered a shocking defeat to Arab team Saudi Arabia in their opening encounter of the tournament now look to resurrect their campaign back on track. They will look to play their brand of football.

La Albiceleste’s defence were breached twice against Saudi Arabia and it does not bode well for the backline and they will look to keep it tight against the Mexicans. While going in front they are blessed to have Messi.

Manager Lionel Scaloni might go with a 4-4-2 system against the Mexicans.

On the other hand, Mexico themselves were forced to play a disappointing draw against Poland in their opening group game. They will look to turn things around against fellow rivals Argentina.

El Tri will look to be again defensively solid which can be pivotal to success against the Argentinians and be creative up front, this time try to find the net.

Manager Gerardo Martino might us a familiar 4-3-3 system on Saturday to tackle the Argentinians from the off.

Team news and possible lineups

Raul Gimenez is available for Mexico and might play.

As for the Argentinians, Lisandro Martinez and Paulo Dybala are both available and might play.

Argentina XI : E. Martinez, Montiel, Romero, Lisandro Martinez, Tagliafico, De Paul, Paredes, Mac Allister, Messi, Lautaro Martinez, Di Maria.

Mexico XI : Ochoa, Sanchez, Montes, Moreno, Gallardo, Alvarez, Herrera, Chavez, Lozano, Martin, Vega.

Prediction

It will be a tough game this one given both teams necessity to get points on board but I think Argentina’s experience will come into play and they might win 2-1.
