Brazil vs Japan
Brazil will play Japan on Friday in the French city
Brazil and Japan are set to play each other on Friday in an International Friendly. Brazil go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 1:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille

Brazil have already qualified for next year’s world cup and will now play games as a preparation. They will figure out their winning combinations.

The same goes for one of the best teams in Asia, Japan. They too have qualified for the world cup and will now find their best combinations.

In fact, Brazil excelled throughout qualifying. They were the best team in South America and finished qualifying with ten points ahead of second placed Uruguay.

As for Japan, they qualified after defeating Australia 2-0. The Japanese have now qualified for six world cups in a row.

Now theses two teams play each other in a sort of a historic clash. But it should be a good game on Friday as both teams will give their all.

Team news and possible line-ups

Eiji Kawashima is available for Japan and will likely be given a start on Friday. While defender Yuto Nagatomo is also available and might play against Brazil.

While the Japanese front line will probably include Takuma Asano and Takashi Inui.

As for Brazil, Douglas Costa is back into the squad. While Diego Tardelli, Arthur and Fred all misses out.

Japan XI : Kawashima, H. Sakai, G. Sakai, Nagatomo, Yoshida, Hasebe, Endo, Yamaguchi, Kurata, Asano, Inui.

Brazil XI : Ederson, Marcelo, Alves, Marquinhos, Miranda, Casemiro, Fernandinho, Paulinho, Firmino, Jesus, Neymar.

Prediction

While it’s not a given that Brazil will win on Friday but they certainly are the favorites for this game. I don’t think Japan will produce any significant trouble to Brazil. I expect Brazil to win this game. The scoreline could be 2-0.
