Barcelona eye victory against PSV away in 2018/19 UEFA Champions League

Barcelona vs PSV
Barcelona will play PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday in the Champions League
Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven are set to go head to head on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League as the season moves ahead. Barcelona go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Philips Stadion, Eindhoven

Barcelona are doing well in 2018/19 Champions League as they are unbeaten as of now and will look to play positive football ahead.

They at the moment are first in the group after four games with ten points. PSV Eindhoven away should be tough but they should bring their A game into play and hope for the best.

Barca have their next three games against Villarreal, Cultural Leonesa and Espanyol across La Liga and Copa del Rey.

On the other hand, PSV Eindhoven are struggling in 2018/19 UEFA Champions League and have lost almost every match they have played so far.

The Dutch outfit are currently fourth in the group after four games with just one point. Against Barcelona they shouldn’t loose hope and look to give their all.

Barcelona have an overall good record against PSV and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Ryan Thomas will not be available for PSV Eindhoven for the Barcelona game as due to injury.

As for Barcelona, Rafinha will not be available as due to injury. While Ivan Rakitic and Phillipe Coutinho are both doubts.

PSV Eindhoven XI : Zoet, Angelino, Schwaab, Viergever, Dumfries, Hendrix, Pereiro, Rosario, Lozano, L. De Jong, Bergwijn.

Barcelona XI : Ter Stegen, Semedo, G. Pique, S. Umtiti, J. Alba, Rakitic, S. Busquets, Arthur, Dembele, Messi, Malcom.

Prediction

It should be a close game between two good sides but in the end I expect Barcelona to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 3-1.
