Arsenal will play Newcastle on Sunday in 2019/20 Premier League as both teams look to start the new season well. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 2:00 PM (Local)

Venue : St. James’ Park, Newcastle

Arsenal after a not so good season last term will hope to play their brand of football this term to achieve any moment of significance. They will have to bring their A game into play.

The Gunners start their 2019/20 Premier League season with game against a good team in Newcastle. Newcastle won’t make it easy but Arsenal know their game.

It’s an away game and an afternoon start will mean Arsenal starting fresh with lots of eagerness to do the job.

On the other hand, Newcastle should enjoy them being in the top flight and should play the best football they can this season.

The Magpies have to play out of their skins against classic side in Arsenal. If they garner hopes of upsetting The Gunners then Newcastle have to chalk out the strategy and execute to full.

Newcastle next play Norwich City in the Premier League.

Arsenal are ahead in terms of the head to head against Newcastle and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Ritchie and Krafth are both doubtful for Newcastle for the Arsenal game.

As for The Gunners, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin will both be not available as due to injuries. While Alexandre Lacazette is doubtful.

Newcastle XI : Dubravka, Schar, Lascelles, Fernandez, Manquillo, Ritchie, Longstaff, Shelvey, Hayden, Joelinton, Almiron.

Arsenal XI : Leno, D. Luiz, Chambers, Maitland- Niles, Monreal, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Torreira, Ceballos, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Prediction

I think this game might be a draw with Arsenal playing away from home and bit of early jitters. I expect a 2-2 draw here.
