Argentina will take on Mexico on Tuesday in an international friendly as we approach the end of the international break. La Albiceleste go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Alamodome, San Antonio

Argentina after a disappointing goalless draw against Chile a few days ago will be in a mood to do a bit more and here come’s their chance.

The Argentinians are yet again without Leo Messi and they must produce some eye catching soccer to outplay the opponents. Mexico are the opponents.

Mexico in The USA is the task, a fairly simple one but they gotta get the job done. Argentina need to defend again well against a Mexico side which is somewhat dangerous. Plus be exceptional in the final third.

On the other hand, Mexico will be very confident going into this one, although a different challenge. Mexico won against USA in USA 3-0 a few days back.

El Tri know Argentina, the two time world champions are always a tough proposition for them. They need to take their game to a whole new level. But that’s the challenge.

Mexico can go for a draw and if possible get a winner much like what Chile did. They need to be solid defensively, absorb all things and then act on a dangerous counter. All the best to them.

Argentina have a very good record against Mexico and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Guillermo Ochoa will keep for Mexico against Argentina.

As for La Albiceleste, Lionel Messi will not be available as due to a ban.

Mexico XI : Ochoa, Alvarez, Navarro, Pinedo, Moreno, Lozano, Antuna, Gutierrez, Vega, Hernandez, Jimenez.

Argentina XI : Andrada, Montiel, Otamendi, Balerdi, Tagliafico, de Paul, Paredes, Palacios, Correa, Dybala, Martinez.

Prediction

I think it will be a draw. Argentina and Mexico might draw 1-1.
