Goa take on Northeast United on Saturday’s double-header game 2 as the season moves ahead. Goa come into this game as the favourites.

Goa have had an ok campaign so far in this season’s ISL and need to keep winning. They are currently 6th in the points table after 9 games with 15 points. They have a goal difference of +4. Goa routed Odisha in the last game 3-0.
The Gaurs have showed defensive capabilities at times but they need to be consistent. Attack wise they have scored and they can continuously exploit defences.
Manager Carlos Pena would likely go with a 4-2-3-1 system.
On the other hand, Northeast United have been the worst team of this season’s ISL. They are winless with nine defeats from as many games and a goal difference of -18. They need to come alive. Northeast were thrashed in their previous game 3-7 against Chennaiyin.
The Highlanders have been really weak in terms of defending and have eaten up goals. They need to show defensive resoluteness. Attack wise they haven’t been great either and will need to be more clinical.

I think at home Goa will be very strong and they favoured side especially against an out of form Northeast side. So a routine win for Goa 2-0.
